Xscape’s Latocha Scott Reveals She Going Solo, Tells Tiny & Tamika To Go Have More Babies…

It seem like Xscape will be short one group member again following the group’s controversial appearance at this year’s Soul Train Music Awards. After Xscape’s red carpet appearance goes viral fans starts digging up old content of the group’s problematic history.
In one video, Kandi and Tiny opened what took place the moment Latocha Scott planned she wanted to go solo. Since the late 90s, Xscape has worked hard to maintain all original members, which began when Latocha Scott planned she wanted to go solo in 1997.As per Kandi, Latocha Scott first opened she’d be going single right before Xscape starts to record their 3rd album, ‘Traces Of My Lipstick’. Latocha Scott finally left the label in 2001. In 2002, Latocha Scott collaborated on Trick Daddy’s Thug Holiday, the 2nd solo from Trick Daddy’s ‘Thug Holiday’ album. The song reached at number 87 on Billboard Hot 100 and 24 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs.Following the success of Thug Holiday, LaTocha launched her debut album, ‘Solo Flight 404’ on October 13, 2003, with the lead single ‘Still Ghetto.’ somehow, the vocalist could not secure major distribution, so the album was launched on her label,
‘Golden Girl Ent’. Unfortunately, neither the album nor the solo charted. Later an unsuccessful trial at her solo career, Latocha Scott returned to Xscape, along with her sister, Tamika Scott, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, and new member Kiesha Miles without Kandi Burruss.The revamped version of Xscape launched one solo titled, ‘What’s Up’ in 2005 and was dismantled shortly later. Seven years aftet, in 2012, the vocalist would make another trial at a single career, launching her single, ‘Bad Timing.’
somehow, the song was not encounter with much reception, leading the vocalist to join another group of lady in 2013 when she joined R&B Divas for season 3. During her time on the show, Latocha gave fans a look into her life as a wife and mom. Although, she would not back to the franchise for season 3.
