Jenkins’ death, which occurred on September 10, 2017, in Rosemont, Illinois, is still a p’ainful reminder. Her body was found in the freezer of the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel & Conference Center. After Jenkins went missing.while attending a hotel birthday celebration with pals, his family and friends immediately began a vigorous 24-hour search for him. The Rosemont Police Department published a distressing security video showing Jenkins s’trolling the hotel halls alone and seemed disoriented as the case gained more national attention.
She is seen wandering through the hotel kitchen in one of the final frames, but she is not seen going into the freezer. Jenkins d’ied of hypothermia, and police ultimately declared it to be an accident, although numerous theories claim that f’oul play had a role in her demise.
Jenkins’ family s’ued the hotel for $50 million for wrongful death last year, adding a restaurant and a private security firm as co-defendants.
