Legendary Singer Patti LaBelle Concert In Milwaukee Ends Abruptly, Leaving Fans Confused

Patti Labelle fresh off headlining the AHF World Aids Day Concert with Gladys Knight returned on stage tonight at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, WI. The show was supposed to be a joyous occasion for fans looking to enjoy a night with the Legendary singer. But unfortunately, the event turned into complete chaos after the venue received a bomb threat. As a result, Patti Labelle was quickly escorted off stage.

In video footage recorded by fans, the legendary singer was in the middle of her performance set. Then, out of nowhere, security charged the stage. Patti Labelle appeared irate as security grabbed her flowers and moved her mic stand forcefully. In the video, the singer can be heard shouting, “Hold Up… Wait.” Immediately after, Labelle was escorted backstage with fans in the audience, shocked and uncertain about what was happening.

After Patti Labelle was removed from the stage, Milwaukee PD told everyone to leave the theater. A patron from the show shared footage from outside of the venue, stating, “We just learned there was a bomb threat against Patti Labelle at the Riverside Theater. The theater had to be clear; it had to be evacuated. And now all the participants are waiting outside. We do not know if we can go back inside the venue. It is up to the Riverside theater if we can go back inside, but right now, everything is at a halt.”

Social media reacted with concerns for the 78-year-old singer and the fans in attendance. The Milwaukee PD has confirmed all patrons in the Riverside Theater were safely evacuated. However, no additional details were provided as the investigation is ongoing. At this moment, it’s uncertain if the show will be rescheduled or if fans will receive a refund. Patti Labelle’s concert at the Riverside Theater was her last scheduled performance of this year. The singer is expected to resume touring in 2023 when she performs at ‘The Stage At Coco Outdoors’ in Coconut Creek, FL, on February 2, 2023.
