Gabrielle Union and Boosie Badazz In Fiery Exchange After Actress Reacts To His Previous Criticism

Boosie Badazz has been aggressively speaking out against the Wade family since it was first revealed that Zaya Wade had begun living her life openly as a girl. Boosie has never understood how the family let Zaya make such a life-altering decision so early and made assumptions about what was going on without confirmation. He and the family have gone back and forth several times over the years, but a recent dig by Gabrielle Union was resurfaced and had Boosie a little upset about the implications she is making about him.

The history between Boosie and the Wades began in 2020, shortly after Zaya came out. The then 12-year got immediate support from the media, including Ellen Degeneres who featured her on an episode of her show. While the family was championed by many for supporting their daughter and uplifting her, Boosie took to Instagram to criticize them and accuse them of letting Zaya have too much power. “That is a male. A 12-year-old! At 12 they don’t even know what they next meal gone be. They don’t have [nothing] figured out yet. He might meet a woman, anything, at 16 and fall in love with her. But his [expletive] be gone. How he gon’, like, bruh, you going too far, dawg.”

Boosie continued, demanding that the family not allow Zaya to have reassignment surgery. People immediately took to social media to call him out for his opinion saying, “Why is Boosie or anything heterosexual male speaking about Zaya Wade’s private parts?…. Dwyane Wade & Gabrielle Union have said nothing about surgery. See how ignorant these bigots are within our Black communities?”

Wade took a different approach, thanking Boosie for helping amplify the discussion surrounding trans children. “I thank you because you’re allowing the conversation to keep going forward,” he said to Boosie. He also addressed J Boog, who had left some hateful comments as well under a post about Zaya. Zaya continues to thrive, but people still have opinions on her life.

Gabrielle Union is not always as politically correct as her husband and has said some things to Boosie that initially flew under the radar. One of those interviews has resurfaced, though. Union called out Boosie for having a lot of ‘D’ on his mind. She and Jemel Hill pointed out how “preoccupied” Boosie has been with Lil Nas X and Zaya Wade. Union then went on to insinuate that Boosie might have something he wants to tell everyone while also providing a ‘safe space’ for the rpper.

This is not the first time someone has assumed this, as Lil Nas X also said something similar when he and Boosie were beefing. Lil Boosie caught wind of the interview popping back up and took to Twitter to give Gabrielle Union a taste of his mind. “LOL THE WHOLE WORLD KNOW I LOVE WOMEN N THE WORLD KNOW YOUR HUSBAND LOVE [expletive] ” he tweeted. “I HOPE U DONT THINK BLACKS LOOK AT YALL LIKE A POWER COUPLE THEY DONT. I HAD REFUSED TO TALK ABOUT YALL IN INTERVIEWS N HEAR YOU, GO. The rapper went on to make some very graphic details and called Gabrielle Union a black Karen.

Dwayne Wade has not spoken about the exchange.
