Boosie Calls Gunna a “Rat” After Taking Alford Plea Deal in YSL RICO Case
News broke on Wednesday (December 14) that rapper Gunna took an Alford plea deal in the YSL RICO case, which led to him being freed from jail on a four-year suspended sentence with 1-year served. He has conditions he must adhere to, including community service, which, if broken, will lead to him going back to jail.
Gunna released a statement explaining that he had “chosen to end my own RICO case with an Alford plea and end my personal ordeal by publicly acknowledging my association with YSL.” Gunna added, “An Alford plea in my case is the entry of a guilty plea to the one charge against me, which is in my best interest, while at the same time maintaining my innocence toward the same charge.”
Now, Boosie is weighing in on the situation on Twitter, and he believes that Gunna is a “rat.” He wrote, “Rat THIS WOULD HAVE PUT TEARS N MY EYES MY BROTHER , MY ARTIST LIKE WTF IM FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE THAT IM NOT RUNNING A GANG/CRIMINALENTERPRIZE N YOU DO THIS TO BIGDOG UKNOW ITS A GANG ..
